Clue Period Tracker & Calendar 应用的评论

Glitchy

It’s nice to have a record but the app is glitchy. The math isn’t always correct; for example, I was told the average length of my cycle and it was incorrect. It’s pretty simple math and it was off my 50%. I also find it extremely annoying that I can’t scroll smoothly through the months to get an overall look at what I’ve recorded. The screen constantly refreshes and I end up “jumping” to random months, instead of a smooth scroll through the calendar.

Simple for my needs

Been using this for 8 years now. It was originally for me to get pregnant but I’ve kept using it to track my periods. It’s really useful considering how I now have endometriosis and other issues that I can track symptoms with on here. Makes it easier for when I visit my doctor and I can just pull up my notes off of here.

Lost some user friendliness

As others have said the amount of pop ups is a bit of a turn off and makes the app harder to use but I haven't seen anyone mention the fact we can no longer track anything without being connected to the internet. As someone who lives in a rural area this sometimes limits when I can track.

A

No dice bien qué día te va a llegar el periodo

Scam

I delete the app and it took money from me and made me pay 65 dollars

Used to love it but

I used this app for years but I’m at my last straw of all these pop up ads and how everything is behind a paywall. Sorry clue but it’s time to go bye!

Stop searching ladies, this is it!

Too lazy (pms) to write a long review about how amazing this app is so just take my word for it that this is quite literally my favorite iPhone app. Zero regrets, just get the app already!

Love it butt…

I’ve had the app for years, but it is so annoying that they decided to start charging for things, but they want you to have to click no every time you open the app

Best Period App!!!

I’ve been using Clue for YEARS and they have never let me down. I love how the interface has basically always been the same, too. I don’t have to jump through hoops to track my cycle, and I know my data is safe with them. Thank you Clue team!! ♥️

Data from phone that died is gone!

My old iPhone that I was using to track everything just stopped working. I was logged in and when I login on a new device, NONE of my old data is there?!!! I’ve been tracking on this app since like high school and it’s all gone, I now have no idea when my next cycle is since everything got lost with my phone that died. Sooo upsetting

Everything is Paywalled

I’ve used this app for well over eight years, and enjoyed using it for a good portion of that. At one point, the app gave you interesting facts, and basic knowledge about your period and what you were experiencing, but now, everything is paywall. The only thing you can actually do on this is track your period and nothing beyond that. And it’s even more frustrating. Is the fact that every time you move around in the app or just open it, there are constant pop-ups to buy into their subscription service. At this point, I’ve decided to stop using the app after so many because I can’t handle how the app functions at this point.

Girl Mom Request

As a mom of four teenage daughters would be nice if the app had an option to track multiple cycles.

Not ad free

This app has pop up ads pushing you to buy Clue Plus every chance it gets. I only use the period tracking and none of the other features. I began using this app about 8 years ago. It used to be perfect but now I hate it. I’m not going to buy Clue Plus! Quit trying to make Clue Plus happen!

good app bad ads

the app works great. the ui is simple, easy to use, and aesthetically pleasing. i only track my periods and they’re “predicted” accurately 95% of the time. however, there are constant pop-ups and banner ads to upgrade to the paid version.

Pushes to upgrade to paid are insane

The constant pushing of Clue Plus makes the app borderline unusable. I don’t need any of the paid features, I have no interest in upgrading. But every single time I use the app I have to dismiss a pop up or even 2-3.

Good product, shady design choices

I’ve been using this app for years and that historical data is why I’ve stayed. However, I’ve been increasingly frustrated by the sus design choices the Clue team has been making. It should NOT be this difficult to close out a call-to-action/upgrade point/pop up. These designs are 1) inaccessible because of the extremely low contrast between the nearly imperceptible “X” and the background, and 2) a bad user experience design pattern, nearly forcing a user to sign up for a paid plan. That’s bad design and you know it, Clue Team.

Ad

Good app, been using it for a long time. I do however have a problem with the subscription popping up every. Single. Time. I do ANYTHING. I’m not going to pay for it, I don’t need it in my face. In fact, seeing it so much makes me want to buy it less. It’s seriously frustrating and debating switching to another app. I understand that’s where money comes in but don’t let your other customers suffer with the bombardment. Make it a banner or something, not an overwhelming screen that pops up every other tap.

Very helpful with accurate tracking

Although this app is extremely helpful with tracking menstrual health and activity, I wish it was completely free. I only use the free parts. Lol. I hate subscriptions, but I understand.

Used to love Clue

Used to really love this app. I don’t need anything extra besides tracking my cycle, but the adds are insane now! I constantly have to click out of adds now. Very annoying. I have years of data here though so not sure what to do, but I’d like to be done.

Good, but Too Many Pop-Ups

I’ve been using clue for 6+ years now. The free version has plenty of tracking options that really make it easy to note anything that’s typical or atypical with your menstruation. As far as accuracy goes, it’s decent. Never on the nose for me, but close enough to help me guess at what I’m feeling. That being said, there are WAY too many pop ups trying to get you to subscribe to their “Clue Plus” version. Literally after every tap, the whole screen pops up with a sale. I feel like I can’t do my basic tracking in peace when every 2 seconds I have to click out of an ad. It’s disruptive, annoying, and ruins much of the experience for me. Clue Team, I know you use ads to “keep the app running”, but from the user end, this app barely runs at all with the sheer frequency of pop ups that occur after every move. Please do something about this.

too many ads

ive used this for years but like many manyyy other reviewers i’m so fed up with being unable to click anything without an ad popping up. desperate and annoying

Pop ups

After inputting literally any data point, a screen pops up to subscribe to a paid version with hidden X’s which make the app unusable. I’ve been a user for years but will be using apples tracking functionality from now on.

Decent app, ads are annoying.

This app works decently well for tracking the basics of your cycle and symptoms. They tease / hide more health data behind a subscription paywall, and the constant ad banners trying to “sell” Clue+ are annoying and distracting.

Ads make the app un-usable

Im looking for a new period tracker despite all my data being on this one bc an ad popping up after every single click makes this app unusable.

Not good anymore

I used the app for several years. At the time I started using Clue, I felt it was the best tracking app on the market; however, nearly every feature, aside from basic tracking, has become locked behind a subscription paywall even though they were once free. At this rate, I fully expect that there will reach a point where it will be 100% subscription based only. I would not recommend this tracker anymore, as the free content is no better than what you can get on other free tracking apps. Not to mention that everything you click pops up a prompt asking you to subscribe. I’m using Apple health now. It gives you the same features that the free version of Clue does - without all the pop-ups.

Borderline unusable

I can barely do anything in this app without being bombarded about joining Clue Plus. Terrible user experience and extremely frustrating.

Clue App

I’ve been using this app since 2019 or 2020. It’s a great app!

Not encouraging

Informational, but not the most positive or encouraging with the forefront topics it chooses to display on analysis.

Used to love it

Used to be a great app. But now, every time I open it, it’s like I’m getting harassed to upgrade to the premium plan. I simply want to track my period. Don’t know why I’d want to pay for that. I just wish I could continue to use the free version without being asked to upgrade every two seconds.

Reliable tracker!

Love this app and it’s accuracy! After using other period and ovulation trackers with no luck getting pregnant, I downloaded Clue and it was always accurate and I conceived all five of my kids thanks to this app!

Everything being put behind a paywall

I used this app for 6+ years. Slowly but very surely everything—I mean EVERYTHING is becoming a paid feature. It’s almost as if every cycle I check the app and something that was just included with the app is included as a part of the “upgraded” plan. For example checking how many days my previous cycles were is now a paid feature. I’ve just kept this app because I’ve had it for so long but now I’m just deleting and using Apple health. Just over it.

Lovely

Amazing how the app works

Prompts to upgrade oppressive

I agree with the many reviews that say after years of using just the basic features and enjoying it, I’ll be deleting the app bc even the core features are nigh on unusable bc of the constant popups prompting you to upgrade to their paid version of the app. Simply don’t offer a free version if you intend to add so much friction as makes it incredibly frustrating to use.

Stop trying to sell me the membership.

I used to use this app all the time, it is helpful and educational for younger people with menstrual cycles. However I am sick and tired of the pop ups trying to get me to pay for the clue plus service. It makes me want to delete the app altogether and use a different one.

Insane amount of prompts to upgrade

I love this app and what it provides. It’s accurate and some of the tracking reminder notifications are so funny. However, anything you click on or any window you switch to triggers a prompt to upgrade to Clue Plus. I know I won’t ever upgrade to it because I don’t need those features. It would be nice if there was an option to decline the offer to upgrade and the pop ups stop for a certain amount of time and you don’t have to keep declining after literally EVERY change you make or anything you press in the app - *Please consider adding an option to decline to upgrade and make pop ups stop for a certain amount of time (such as the way you do with the banners) or simply cut back on the amount of times you are prompting your users to upgrade*.

Can’t change much

I’m trying to say my period ended earlier as I’m trying to track my period changes but there’s no way to just say “no period today” it just set on whatever length you mentioned it was and no way to adjust. I’m not even sure if when you pay you’ll be able to change it either.

Used to be better. Where is the data??? :-(

been using this app for years, and it’s mostly very good. But - somewhere along the line, it lost the ability to show analysis for history of symptoms that have been tracked. I used to be able to go to an Analysis tab and choose a symptom and it would display when I had logged that symptom during past cycles. I can’t find this feature any longer. What good is tracking if you can’t easily see the data afterwards?? Would love to see the ability to visualize historical data in multiple forms inside the app and not just export it. Also: feature request to make tracking easier - add the ability to re-arrange the order in which symptoms are displayed within each category - add the ability for the app to remember the place it’s been scrolled down to even when changing the date of symptoms. - add the ability for custom tags to be categorized (or: add a “custom tag” option to each category) - add auto sorting options so symptoms can be easily re-sorted by most recently tracked, alphabetical, category, manual sort, most frequently tracked, and most frequently tracked within this phase of my cycle, or within x days of this day of my cycle.

Literally the best app for tracking

Wanted to find an app committed to user privacy that wasn’t bare bones & this one hit all the boxes. Easy to track, easy to monitor, and easy to use! I’ve recommended it to everyone I know!

Too Many Popups

I’ve used this app for years, and had a great experience except for the incessant “upgrade now!”popups that I have to click through. I had exit out of 3 before I could get to my home screen, and all of the x’s were in different places. Incredibly obnoxious, and I’m going to start researching other period trackers to use because it’s just too much.

Love it

I’ve been using it for months now and it’s amazing. So helpful to know when my cycle might start so I can prepare 🤭

Dark Mode

Genuinely love the app and glad dark mode has finally arrived. My only pet peeve is the ad for me to pay for a subscription keeps coming up whenever I open the app.

Unusable now with pop-ups

I used to absolutely love Clue but constant pop-ups to subscribe have ruined it. I’ve used it for many years and am about to delete it because I never use it anymore. I hate opening the app, a pop-up to subscribe appears everytime I open the app and everytime I log a symptom or period day. I think I have to “x” out of a pop up 3x just to log that my period arrived today. Hate it.

Used to be amazing, horrible now

I’ve been using this app for years but now I’m starting to consider other options for tracking my period because it’s become unbearable to even open the app anymore. As soon as you open it you’re bombarded with MULTIPLE pop ups, one after the other trying to get you to pay for their premium version, literally every single time you open the app. Not once a day, not once every few hours, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. you open the app. It’s completely ridiculous and frustrating having to x out of three or four different pop ups advertising their premium subscription to even be able to use the app. And honestly, if they weren’t so aggressive with it I would actually consider getting premium but out of pure spite for how annoying this app has become to use I am done using it all together.

Free version is fine if they’d let you use it

The free version of this app has plenty of features for my needs and I like it. But these days it’s practically unusable with how often it tries to get me to upgrade. Every time I open it or click on something I have to x out of a pop up window. I’m refusing to upgrade on principle honestly. The paid version isn’t much and it would rid me of the annoyance but I will not be annoyed into paying for a premium tier.

Just lost a decade long user

I have been using Clue since 2014. Over the last few years the company has changed and can no longer reliably track and save data for users. You used to be able to export all your data for all time into a readable format. They updated the app to make it more spammy, pushing paid tiers and buying the expensive Oura ring, but also cutting off long time user data from its most long term loyal users, like me. I exported the data…into an unreadable json file as directed by Clue. I uploaded the data into the new app as directed by Clue but suddenly now I can no longer access that data. Opt for a more simple, reliable, not spammy app that gives you access to your user data. Don’t end up like me, manually extracting 10+ years of tracking data trying to make sense of your cycle changes. This is the reason this company exists…to track your data. Clue can’t do that reliably any more.

NOTIFICATIONS ARE CRAZY

This app notifies you every day. Nearly every notification is not even about subscribing, it’s just stupid random quotes, with no option to stop. Also, not sure why in the world I can’t adjust my period length. Seems like a basic feature.

Conflicted.

I have been using this app for years and it has all my information in it. If it was easy to transfer this info into a new ap I would. The constant pop up advertisements to try to sway me to pay for a membership is absolutely too much. I understand advertising is important but every time you do something new in the app another attempt at getting you to pay for the free app appears. Extremely irritating and uncalled for. Otherwise a great tracker.

Period ahh period uhh

This helped me with my period then most apps butt…….
