Almost perfect
Like previous reviewers noted, this app has nearly everything I could ask for. However, some additional categories could help round out and customize each womans usage.
For example, the app covers most conventional birth control, but makes no distinction between hormonal and nonhormonal copper IUDs (Paragard). Given that copper IUDs have been long associated with heavier, more painful periods, this distinction might be helpful, along with an accompanying explanation of risk versus reward.
Moreover, the app should distinguish between types and location of period- and ovulation-related pain--e.g. dull or throbbing pain in the abdomen, throbbing pain in the lower back, sharp ovarian pain, hip and leg stiffness. While most types of pain are related as they pertain to the menstrual cycle, they occur at different times and denote different things. As such, distinguishing among them can help to offer a fuller and more accurate picture of the experience.
Granted, Im a nitpicker. And all told, Im quite satisfied with the well-roundedness of this app. Keep tracking, Clue! We love you.
